Sustainability
Report

Transparency is one of our values: underlying the conduct of Iris Ceramica Group is the promotion of open dialogue with all our stakeholders.

A fundamental ESG reporting tool, every year our Sustainability Report is drafted in accordance with the most recent version of the Global Reporting Initiative guidelines, called the GRI Standards Core option. It presents a complete and authentic photograph of our corporate commitment to environmental, social and governance sustainability.

Certifications

Our quality is certified: we achieve the highest standards using certified integrated management systems in environmental (ISO 14001), quality (ISO 9001) and safety (ISO 45001) fields.

We are committed to certifying not only the products but also the manufacturing processes and the supply chain. In 2008 we obtained LEED certification and the GreenGuard and GreedGuard Gold certifications for our materials, in addition to Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver certification for our Italian made surfaces.

Foundation

Through the Foundation, the Group accompanies its growth strategy with a strong and constant commitment to creating value for the community and the environment.

Founded in September 2019, it comes from our responsibility to enhance human capital and share knowledge.

Certifications

LEED Certification

Already widespread and active in over 40 countries, the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification system evaluates and certifies the environmental, social, and economic sustainability of buildings as a whole. According to LEED classification criteria, building materials with high eco-sustainability contribute to earning credits by increasing the building’s score. It is certified that all slabs presented in this tool contain a percentage of recycled material exceeding 40% in accordance with ISO 14021, thus ensuring the highest scores according to the LEED system.

BREEAM Certification

BREEAM is among the most widespread standards globally and aims to measure the environmental impact of buildings by applying specific criteria for assessing construction sustainability. The scoring system involves certification types set by rigorous technical parameters and quality control based on the latest available technologies and knowledge.
